Open Enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year is closed.



A lottery for University Preparatory Academy (UPA) enrollment was held on Feb. 29th at 12:00 noon at the High School, 610 Antoinette St., Detroit, MI 48202. Letters regarding students who applied during Open Enrollments status for next school year will be mailed to all applicants.

There will not be a lottery for University Prep Science & Math Middle School (UPSM) because the number of applications received during open enrollment did not exceed the number of openings.

Students who apply now are added to the bottom of the waitlist.  To print out an application please see below. Note: We do not recommend faxing applications, however, if you choose to fax or mail your application you should also call the site in which the application was sent in order to verify the application was in fact received. Thank you.
