Doug Ross, Superintendent and Founder of University Prep Academy
Biography:
Doug Ross has served in several capacities in state and federal government. Most recently he was
Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment and Training at the U.S. Department of Labor.
Previously he served as Director of the Michigan Department of Commerce and as a member
of the Michigan Senate. Doug also has extensive private sector experience, including serving as
President of Michigan Future, Inc., an economic development organization.
Doug was an undergraduate at the University of Michigan and received
his M.P.A. from Princeton University.
