Attn: Food Service Vended Meal Companies

University Preparatory Academy (UPA) and University Prep Science & Math (UPSM)
are requesting proposals for school foodservice vended meal
services for the 2008-2009 school year. The vendor would provide the meal services according
to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and guidelines as well as the
Michigan Department of Education (MDE) policies and guidelines.

UPA is hosting a mandatory pre-bid meeting that will occur on May 15, 2008 at 4:00 pm at:
University Prep High School
5950 Third Ave.
Detroit, MI 48202

UPSM is hosting a mandatory pre-bid meeting that will occur on June 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm at:
University Prep High School
5950 Third Ave.
Detroit, MI 48202

Vendors and/or their representatives may submit proposals to Allison Neal at the address above.
All proposals for UPA must be submitted by 4:00pm, June 6th, 2008 and by 4:00pm, July 7th, 2008 for UPSM.
All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addresssed to
University Preparatory Academy or University Prep Science and Math, Attn: Allison Neal.
They should also be clearly marked: "Food Service Vended Meal Proposal"

University Prep's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject
any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that is in the best interest of the school district.
